New CEO at Garz & Fricke
The Garz & Fricke Group, system provider for ARM-based embedded technologies, has a new CEO: Stefan Heczko has been in office since July 20, 2020.
The change in management comes as a result of the Group's growth and the planned departure of Manfred Garz, one of the two company founders. Together with the second company founder Matthias Fricke and CFO Marc-Michael Braun, Stefan Heczko forms the group's management board. Before joining Garz & Fricke, Heczko was CEO of Alltec (FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving), a manufacturer of laser marking systems.
Following the acquisitions of the software provider e-GITS from Stuttgart and the processor module provider Keith & Koep from Wuppertal, the Garz & Fricke Group has grown into a full-service provider with headquarters in Hamburg and locations in Wuppertal, Stuttgart, Minneapolis (USA) and Chennai (India) in less than a year. Founded in 1992, the medium-sized company employs around 180 people who develop and produce hardware and software solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), electronics for machine technology, control systems, telemetry systems, payment systems, HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), touch displays and panel PCs.
