It can be monitored and/or managed regardless of whether it is in operation or not. To support system integrators in building their systems, the computers offer two expansion slots that increase the number of available COM, LAN and I/O interfaces. In addition, the ECU-4784 module offers the iCDManager function, which checks the communication status of the system, including a quantitative evaluation. The TPM chip integrated on the motherboard provides basic security functions, primarily encryption codes. Its task is to check the system integrity and authenticate third parties with regard to access rights. The Intel CPU also features Intel VT-D functionality by utilizing the hardware support built into Intel chipsets. VT-D allows resources to be isolated and efficiently shared between operating systems running in parallel. All units in the ECU-4000 series are compliant with IEC 61850-3 and feature a fanless design, isolated COM and LAN interfaces, redundant power supply and LAN teaming.
