The nationwide microchip competition 'Invent a Chip' is entering a new round under the motto "Internet of Things". The VDE and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research are now calling on schoolchildren to submit their ideas on the topic of the Internet.
<p>At last year's 'Invent a Chip' competition, the VDE and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) chose Max Hentges' idea from Berlin as the "project with the greatest industrial relevance": he was working on a safe and intelligent bicycle that provides information about the environmental impact of car traffic and the operating status of the bicycle.</p> © VDE
