The Raspberry Pi is the most popular minicomputer worldwide and also in Germany. Almost one in two people who realize electronics projects privately or professionally have already used it. This is the result of a representative survey by Reichelt Elektronik.

According to the survey, the success of the Raspberry Pi has brought some competitors onto the scene. However, most competing developer boards are far behind the pioneer: 25% of respondents have already used an Asus Tinker, with 22% each using the Banana Pi and Arduino. The use of Odroid (16 %), Beaglebone (12 %) and pcDuino (7 %) is less widespread.
