The Mangoh Red hardware platform is now part of Unitronic's Sensor2Cloud portfolio. The Mangoh reference designs have been specially developed for mobile radio-capable IoT applications and are intended to provide a Sensor2Cloud platform for rapid prototyping of products and their prompt production in line with Unitronic's strategy. The Mangoh Red board has a CF3 snap-in socket for compatible radio modules (2G to 4G & LTE-M/NB-IoT). The board is pre-equipped with a 3G module from Sierra Wireless (WP8584). For the application software used, the board has a Cortex-M4 CPU with Real-Time OS. It also includes a selection of useful peripheral functions such as WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, an accelerometer and gyroscope as well as sensors for light, temperature and air pressure. According to the manufacturer, the product also offers a variety of interfaces for external extensions such as an IoT expansion slot. The reference designs can be seamlessly integrated into the Legato platforms and offer extensive interfaces to cloud and network services such as voice calls, SMS, data management and radio controls.
