A processor from the Sitara family (AM62x) with up to two camera inputs and an NPU (Neuromorphic Processor Unit) is currently integrated on the platform. The processor from Texas Instruments offers a MIPI CSI-2 interface with two or four lanes for the connection of up to two cameras. It has an image signal processor with a processing capacity of 315 MPixel/s and supports visualization on an RGB display. Helbling 's platform can be flexibly adapted to customer-specific requirements: Various compatible processors are available within the family, and the RAM, memory (eMMC or SD card), interfaces and other additional components can also be individually configured. The embedded Linux operating system is optionally created on the basis of Yocto or Buildroot.
