With the multi-service platform, Schubert System Elektronik bundles services at the edge.
The multi-service platform (MSP), a building block within the modular computer products and systems of the 'Prime Cube' product brand from Schubert System Elektronik, offers a solution for bundling important services at the 'edge' of a system. An 'MSP' combines several services into one system using container technology; the required data is collected via interfaces, processed via defined applications and transferred to the cloud, for example. In addition to data pre-processing and cloud connectivity, other tasks can also be performed, such as remote access to the system or virtual sensor technology.
The MSP can be implemented on different hardware systems. A container engine ensures the operation of various applications, connectors and 3rd party services, which are separated using containers (type 2 hypervisor). The separation of the operating system from the application level and encrypted container communication enhance security.
