According to Spectra , the small design and weight of just 500 g make the edge device one of the most compact edge AI systems on the market. This allows edge computing to be integrated into existing systems and effectively placed in environments with limited space. The edge device offers an AI performance of 100 TOPS (tera-ops per second) and is therefore suitable for applications such as machine learning and image processing. The device is equipped with a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE-v8.2 CPU with 2 Mbyte L2 and 4 Mbyte L3 cache. The memory options of 16 Gbyte 128-bit LPDDR5 with a transfer rate of 102.4 Gbit/s provide sufficient capacity for data-intensive applications. The edge device consumes only 7.6 W in idle mode and 40.25 W under full load.
