Unmanaged SPE switch
The new unmanaged switch '10Base-T1L SPE' from Weidmüller offers a range of one kilometer and power transmission with class A Profinet conformity.
Weidmüller presents a new unmanaged switch with SPE connection. SPE technology increases the range of the Internet connection; at the same time, the two-core cables enable parallel power transmission. The '10Base-T1L-SPE' switch ensures reliable data transmission over distances of up to one kilometer. Compared to the RS485 standard, the bandwidth of 10 Mbit/s is significantly higher at a similar distance.
The switches support Power over Data Line (PoDL) up to class 15, which enables a power supply of up to 50 W at the end device. Features such as SCCP and force mode simplify the setup of the power supply for new devices.
