Cisco
The Innovation Alliance
Cisco has now launched the Innovation Alliance. Together with eleven medium-sized IT companies, Cisco wants to support German SMEs with digitization.
Within the Innovation Alliance,Cisco cooperates with system houses, software developers, managed service providers, resellers and consultants. With twelve companies, over 40 locations across Germany, more than 2,000 employees and over 1,000 digitalization projects, the Innovation Alliance is also the largest point of contact for small and medium-sized companies in Germany when it comes to digitalization, according to Cisco. "We want to help German companies remain competitive. That's why we are pooling our expertise in the Innovation Alliance and creating a central point of contact for German SMEs," says Carsten Heidbrink, Managing Director SME Sales at Cisco Germany.
The Innovation Alliance is a central pillar of the "Deutschland Digital" programme, under which Cisco plans to invest 500 million US dollars by 2021 to accelerate digitalization in Germany.
If you want to drive digitalization forward, you first need to understand how decision-makers think about it. That is why the Innovation Alliance initially surveyed 500 top decision-makers from SMEs. The study shows how digitalization feels in everyday business life.
