It replaces the Ethernet cable, particularly for applications in harsh environments or areas that are difficult to access: depending on the requirements of the network architecture, it can be used as a cable replacement for point-to-point connections or as an access point. It is commissioned using a push button or the integrated web interface. The Wireless Bridge II uses the same wireless technology as the Anybus Wireless Bolt, a wireless gateway that is mounted directly on the machine and enables wireless system solutions. It is suitable for transmitting Industrial Ethernet standards such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Bacnet/IP and Modbus-TCP via radio. The device has one M12 connection each for power and network and complies with protection class IP65.
