Communication is based on ASi-5. The ASi-5 railbus device, which supports interfaces such as Profinet and Ethernet/IP, is used for the stationary connection. The solution can be used to implement up to two route segments, each 200 m long, which can accommodate up to 40 mobile participants. The communication cycle of just 40 ms at 16 bytes per vehicle ensures short response times and high process reliability. On the mobile side, the preconfigured ASi-5 gateway ensures stable communication. The 'Movi-C Controller Type UHX25A' in combination with the 'Movikit RailGuidedSystems' software solution, which was specially developed for rail-guided transport systems, is responsible for control. The 'Movi-C' modular automation system is available for drive technology. The solution is not only suitable for classic electric monorail systems, but also for other rail-guided systems such as electric floor conveyors and transfer cars.
