Second source for remote Profinet I/O
The Profinet Remote I/O of the PFN-2000 series from Spectra are suitable for Profinet I/O applications in which, for example, a Siemens S7 or compatible PLC acts as the central control unit and in which other analog and digital signals are to be processed decentrally.
The I/O modules comply with Conformance ClassB and RTClass1 and are therefore particularly suitable for applications with a cycle time in the >1 ms range. The integrated switch with two Ethernet ports enables flexible cabling in different topologies. The I/O signals are connected via push-in plug-in terminals and the module is simply mounted on the top-hat rail. The input voltage range of 10 to 30 V(DC) also copes well with fluctuating control cabinet voltage. Spectra'sI/O range extends from the universal 8DI/8DO module to 10AI with individual channel configuration for mV, V, mA or T/C type J/K/T/et cetera up to 4AO with 0 to 10 V or 0/4 to 20 mA output. The software integration of the PFN-2000 modules into the Profinet project is carried out as usual by importing the associated GSDML file supplied into the engineering tool.
