Production workers of the future in our sights

The Fraunhofer Institutes IAO and IPA are planning to build the 'Future Work Lab' - a center that uses demonstrators to bring production work 4.0 to life. Skills development and training courses will also be offered to qualify people for the digital world of work.

Under the leadership of the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO), the 'Future Work Lab' - an innovation laboratory for work, people and technology - is being built on the research campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. The Fraunhofer Institutes IAO and IPA (Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation) want to pool their expertise in Industry 4.0 here.
