OPC UA for the field level - the status quo
The OPC Foundation's Field Level Communications (FLC) initiative was launched with the aim of bringing OPC UA to the field level and thus has the potential to change industrial communication in the long term and to the benefit of all market participants.
The aim is to create an open, standardized and consistent communication solution that covers all relevant requirements and application scenarios in factory automation and the process industry, such as motion, safety and determinism. Supporters of the initiative include the world's largest automation manufacturers.
The presentation will explain the solution approach of the FLC initiative, as well as the current status quo and the further roadmap with regard to the controller-to-controller (C2C) and controller-to-device (C2D) use cases.
Peter Lutz, Director Field Level Communications of the OPC Foundation, welcomes you to the presentation "OPC UA for the field level - the status quo".
Date: November 25, 15:45 - 16:05
