International meeting of experts enters the next round
Ethernet gets a real-time extension with TSN - and even a new transmission medium with 5G! What impact will these technologies have on industry, the automotive sector and the audio-video-consumer world? The TSN/A Conference on September 29-30 will focus on these key questions.
In recent years, the TSN/A Conference has established itself as "the" information platform for TSN, OPC UA and 5G. In terms of content, the event will begin with a detailed look at the updates relating to the standard work on TSN. After that, the two days of the conference will be divided into the following thematic blocks:
- Software, Systems & Open Source,
- Wireless,
- Industrial Applications,
- In-Vehicle Applications.
The individual sessions will focus on the technological aspects of the TSN standard as well as the application-specific topics that are relevant in the various markets/industries.
Dr. Henning Löser is keynote speaker
The keynote speech by Dr. Henning Löser on the first day of the conference will also be a highlight: Dr. Henning Löser is Head of Audi Production Lab. In the P-Lab, he and his team are working on the Smart Factory, developing new technologies and production concepts and evaluating them by testing them in a real production environment.
Dr. Löser will report on current research into the Smart Factory at Audi. He will focus in particular on the topics of IIoT and 5G.
The TSN/A-Conference is organized by the Avnu Alliance in cooperation with the German media brands Computer&AUTOMATION and Elektronik automotive. After 2020, the two-day TSN/A Conference will take place this year for the second time as an interactive, virtual conference.
