Integrated fallback mechanism

Helmholz has added the Rex 100 LTE+WAN and Rex 100 WiFi+WAN product variants to its portfolio of industrial routers. This means that the 'Rex' devices are now available with an additional WAN interface (Wide Area Network) and fallback mechanism.

The Ethernet routers are configured in the 'myRex24 V2' portal. In conjunction with the VPN portal, the 'Rex' routers enable a standardized remote maintenance concept for existing systems and new machines. According to Helmholz, the integrated user management makes it possible to avoid a proliferation of device variants.

All users, from machine builders to plant operators, work on the same platform from the start of commissioning.
