Industry 4.0 Area
In second edition
In Hall 3A, visitors to the 'Industry 4.0 Area' can find out about the concepts, applications and challenges of digital production. A new addition: the 'Cyber Security' platform.
As last year, there will be the joint stand 'Automation meets IT' and the forum of the same name, where IT applications for automation and data-based business models will be presented. At the joint stand 'MES goes Automation', exhibitors will demonstrate how a production control system can be used to optimize the manufacturing process. The Smart Factory Kaiserslautern, which was integrated into the area as a highlight at the opening last year, has now returned to Hall 10. To this end, trade fair organizer Mesago has added the 'Cyber-Security' platform to the 'Industry 4.0 Area'.
Automation meets IT' forum
On all three days of the trade fair, longer and shorter specialist presentations and panel discussions on current Industry 4.0 topics will be held at the forum.
Joint stand 'Automation meets IT'
At this stand, exhibitors will show how IT can be combined with automation technology to make production more efficient or open up new business areas. The companies alpha-bit, AZ Industry Assistance, Bosch Rexroth, EPLAN Software & Service, Gefasoft, Indas, InQu Informatics, Langner Communications, Rhebo, Roth Steuerungstechnik, Strelen Control Systems, znt Zentren für Neue Technologien and the ZVEI will be represented.
Cyber-Security' platform
Industry 4.0 is inextricably linked to the issue of data security. At the 'Cyber-Security' platform, Kaspersky, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and Airbus Defense and Space, among others, will be presenting methods for protecting against complex IT security threats.
Joint stand MES goes Automation
A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or production control system connects the automation level with production planning. The VDE-Verlag stand will show how order processing and production can be optimized with an MES.
