NetworkingNew nomenclature for WLAN standards
The Wi-Fi Alliance wants to replace the cryptic names of the WLAN standards with a simpler numbering of the generations. The upcoming 'WLAN 802.11ax', for example, will simply be called 'WLAN 6'.
