All IO-Link modules and connected sensors and actuators can be commissioned, parameterized and centrally monitored via a web browser. The IO-Link masters are multi-protocol capable. They support the Ethernet-based fieldbus protocols for real-time communication in just one device. Communication via Modbus TCP is also possible. One device variant enables communication via OPC UA. It can be integrated directly into cloud-based systems and can also be operated as a standalone solution thanks to its web-based configuration.

All connected IO-Link devices from Leuze can be configured via the integrated web server with IODD interpreter. IO-Link sensors integrated into the system transmit process data, device information, diagnostic data and event messages. The Ethernet-based I/O modules bundle the data and link the machine modules with the controller and higher-level systems.

Safety thanks to radar

Safe 3D systems are used to monitor hazardous areas - even in harsh environments such as sparks, dirt and dust, for which optical sensors have not yet provided a reliable solution. A radar system is now set to change this.
