Artificial intelligence named lead topic
At Hannover Messe 2019, the focus will increasingly be on artificial intelligence (AI). The organizer has proclaimed the guiding theme: 'Integrated Industry - Industrial Intelligence'. This refers to the digital networking of man and machine in the age of AI.
With this key theme, the trade fair organizer - Deutsche Messe AG - is underlining the growing importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning in industry and the energy sector. The following topics are thus increasingly on the agenda of the industrial trade fair: efficient energy utilization, autonomous production processes and challenges with regard to interfaces, protocols and security. "Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize industry and the energy sector," says Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe. "Humans teach machines to act logically and purposefully in order to satisfy customer needs. AI systems generate knowledge and can now use data and algorithms to continuously optimize operating conditions or reliably predict errors and malfunctions - in production processes, in the power grid or in logistics."
Hannover Messe 2019 will take place from April 1 to 4, 2019. The partner country is Sweden.
