Cognex launches Cognex Explorer Real Time Monitoring (RTM) for factory automation and logistics processes. The tool identifies process errors, maximizes the read rate of 1-D, 2-D and DPM barcodes and reduces manual rework. It collects and processes data from up to 20 "DataMan" barcode readers, displays trends in read rates and barcode quality, logs configuration changes and analyzes the data. This database can be used as a decision-making basis for corrective or optimization measures. Performance data can be accessed around the clock via smartphone, tablet or PC.
