T&G Automation's portfolio includes the edge & cloud platform IICS (Industrial Internet Control System). In contrast to the closed loops of traditional control systems, the IICS networks control systems and evaluates the data collected from entire systems simultaneously. Processing takes place not only in the cloud, but in some cases at the machine or system level ("on the edge"). The IICS control solutions thus enable the implementation of modern Industry 4.0 applications and help companies to improve their productivity and profitability with self-optimizing processes. As a PaaS (Platform as a Service), the industrial cloud platform "Predix" forms the basis for data storage, analysis, digitalization and the optimization and transformation of business processes.
