ABB is launching a Bluetooth-equipped power analysis device for electrical measurement and power monitoring of all installations. The M4M can perform full power quality analysis and accurate energy monitoring, collecting information for the power distribution system and connecting it to the vendor's cloud-based platform, Ability Electrical Distribution Control System. The grid analysis device gives users immediate access to data on energy consumption and the development of energy generation on site. Thanks to the intuitive user interface for simple device configuration and quick visualization of data, installation and commissioning time can be reduced by up to 40 %. The touchscreen ensures ease of use within the menu navigation. Fully detachable terminals and a mobile app also help to speed up commissioning. The measured values can be displayed in waveform or as diagrams. There are two different series: 'M4M 20' and 'M4M 30' including touchscreen. The M4M 20 is a power meter for a basic analysis of the power quality, while the M4M 30 is a measuring device for advanced and more detailed power analysis.
