Belden has launched the OZD Genius G12 and OZD Modbus Plus G12 fiber optic repeaters, designed for mission-critical applications in harsh industrial environments, including manufacturing, transportation and traffic control systems, water and wastewater plants, and power plants. For Modbus Plus and Genius bus networks, the devices offer additional flexibility by extending data transmission up to 22 km and compatibility with all fiber optic types. They support data rates of up to 1 Mbit/s and offer uninterruptible redundancy in the event of fiber breakage.
