The Cyber Physical System CPS i4.0 training system from Bosch Rexroth is designed for both production-related activities and IT tasks. The hardware and software represent a networkable cube assembly. Skills such as programming motion sequences in high-level languages, workpiece-guided production using RFID or linking production data with ERP and MES systems are taught. "CPS i4.0" expands the portfolio of training systems for the training and further education of technical specialists and managers at schools, universities and companies. It consists of a work table with all the necessary functional modules for transporting the cubes and for recognizing cube properties and storing and forwarding this data. This includes an electrically driven conveyor belt, pneumatic actuators and a comprehensive sensor system including an RFID write and read unit. The intelligence of the system is contained in the universally applicable "XDK" micro-controller from Bosch. As a development platform, it comprises the hardware and software for solving practical tasks. It transmits the program and sensor data to the system via WLAN. The students integrate up to twelve sensors and control up to four actuators.
