Belt misalignment switch ZS92SR from Steute Technologies

The ZS 92 SR belt misalignment switch comes from Steute's Extreme division and is based on the ZS 92 S emergency pull-wire switch series. The robust switching device monitors the running of belt conveyors. The stainless steel roller lever registers if the belt is running off-center, for example because it is unevenly loaded, and - depending on how it is integrated into the control system - triggers a correction of the belt run or a stop of the conveyor system. In the variant with staggered contacts, the switching points can be set individually. The switching points of the pre-warning and shutdown can each be set within a range of 5 to 35° - by simply unlocking, moving and engaging the switching inserts. The belt-alignment switch in die-cast aluminum housing has a robust design and multiple coatings (passivation, primer, powder coating). The basic position of the roller lever can be infinitely adjusted and thus adapted to the individual application. It works under adverse ambient conditions at temperatures from -40 to +85 °C. A version for dust-explosion hazardous areas is in preparation.
