With 'Lion-Safe AI', Lütze Transportation presents a safe expansion module with four analog inputs that record sensor signals in the typical and calibrated application range of 4 to 20 mA. The physical measuring range is from -30 to +30 mA. Intelligent diagnostic information can be prepared on the basis of this range so that, on the one hand, an error message no longer has to be issued automatically if the 4 to 20 mA limit is temporarily exceeded and, on the other hand, the channel status can be used to indicate the measuring range of the currently measured sensor data by means of an LED. This allows conclusions to be drawn about the functionality of the connected sensor. Each of the four channels can be individually parameterized in four stages via an input filter. This allows certain unwanted signals (such as short pulses and flickering) to be filtered out. The module (66 mm × 160 mm x 63 mm) is suitable for top-hat rail mounting in closed electrical operating areas or for installation in the driver's cab and passenger compartment.
