Until now, when replacing batteries in a UPS system, individual batteries had to be purchased and then assembled by the user. To reduce this effort, Yuasa, together with AEG Power Solutions, has launched a replacement program that simplifies battery replacement in terms of handling and installation. With the plug-and-play solution for UPS batteries, a ready-to-install battery set enables replacement in just a few simple steps. A replacement battery kit is available for every UPS model in the 'Compact' series Protect Home A, B, B.Pro, C and D from AEG, which already contains the correct number of batteries with the required capacity. Only quality batteries are used, predominantly from the NPW series. Mounted in a cassette, they are aimed at the 'Protect B.Pro' and 'Protect D' UPS series and, thanks to the hot-swap function, can also be replaced during operation. Each set consists of a battery or battery cassette, illustrated instructions for installation, safety instructions and a return form for old batteries. The batteries are high-current resistant, rechargeable and maintenance-free.
