With the V0071 AC power distributor, E-T-A presents a 230 V (AC) power distributor for DIN rail mounting with potential-free signaling. According to the manufacturer, the design of the device prevents any danger to operating personnel: all live parts and cables disappear into the inner layers of the circuit board and into the interior of the plastic carrier. The current is distributed to the individual load channels via ten touch-safe plug-in sockets and terminals that contact the internal current-carrying conductors. The mechanical design of the power distributor allows both vertical and horizontal mounting; the device can be snapped onto the top-hat rail in any position. The power is fed in via spring-cage terminals up to 10 mm², a two-pole back-up fuse with a rated current of 30 A serves as a main switch and backup protection in the event of overload and short circuit. A green LED signals the presence of 230 V(AC) when the back-up fuse is switched on. Ten thermal-magnetic circuit breakers protect the load circuits. Two loads can be connected via spring terminals. As the circuit breakers can be plugged in with additional interlocking, the user can adapt rated currents and characteristic curves or retrofit loads at any time.
