Phoenix Contact is expanding the ME-IO enclosure series with variants in widths of 37.6 mm and 75.2 mm. The enclosures can accommodate PCBs vertically and horizontally. They offer large front surfaces for optional displays, operating elements or data interfaces. L-shaped versions also allow the integration of RJ45 or D-SUB connections for space-critical control cabinet installations. The overall system is rounded off by the established housings for I/O modules with a width of 18.8 mm. Their front connection plugs with push-in technology offer convenient wiring. The plugs with four or six connection poles can be released individually using the lock-and-release system. They enable the connection of a maximum of 54 poles per module. Optional DIN rail bus connectors are used for cross-communication of the entire module.
