With 60 employees,SVS-Vistek recently achieved an annual turnover of around 20 million euros. The acquisition of the company strengthens TKH's market position as one of the world's largest suppliers of industrial image processing technology. Just under a year ago, TKH acquired the holding company Lakesight Technologies, which at the time included Chromasens, Mikrotron and Tattile. TKH intends to integrate its new addition SVS-Vistek into the 'Vision & Security Systems' division, part of the 'Building Solutions' business segment.

The image processing companies of the TKH Group intend to further intensify their cooperation in the areas of technology, production, logistics and sales channels as well as back-end services towards integrated structures in order to exploit the Group's potential and offer customers and partners added value. The identified synergies are to be consistently exploited.

"Our goal is to become a one-stop shop for anyone faced with complex image processing tasks," explains Peter Tix, Group CEO at TKH member Lakesight Technologies Holding GmbH. "Together with our sister companies, we cover a range of expertise that is unique in the industry with line scan and infrared cameras, area scan cameras, high-speed and high-resolution cameras and many other technologies. We serve a variety of applications ranging from embedded vision to industrial, medical and scientific imaging to traffic monitoring."
