TKH acquires
The TKH Group has reached an agreement to acquire the entire Euresys Group, developer and supplier of image and video acquisition components, FPGA IP cores and image processing software as well as frame grabbers.
Euresys is active worldwide and employs 82 people, 50% of whom work in research and development. In addition to its headquarters in Liège (Belgium), the company has subsidiaries in Germany, the USA, Japan, Singapore and China. Its main markets are industrial image processing, factory automation and medical imaging. Euresys also includes the subsidiary Sensor to Image in Schongau, Upper Bavaria.
In 2022, Euresys generated sales of EUR 27 million. TKH is financing the transaction from existing funds. The transaction is not subject to regulatory approval and has already been completed. TKH expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings per share from 2023. In addition to Euresys with Sensor to Image, the TKH Group, which is headquartered in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands, also includes the machine vision companies Allied Vision, Chromasens, LMI Technologies, Mikrotron, NET, Nerian, SVS Vistek and Tattile.
"The acquisition of Euresys fits in with our 'Accelerate 2025' strategy, in which we accelerate our growth both organically and through acquisitions," explains Alexander van der Lof, CEO of the TKH Group. "Euresys' technology complements TKH's existing proprietary machine vision techniques and adds strong software expertise, interface techniques and know-how to our capabilities." TKH intends to integrate Euresys into the 'Smart Vision systems' division.
