Imec 's hyperspectral camera has three sensors integrated in a single housing and is equipped with a standard F-mount lens. It enables project partners to flexibly evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different spectral resolutions and ranges without having to invest in a large number of devices or carry out experiments twice. Inside the camera, the light is distributed across three channels. Two of these are equipped with a two-megapixel sensor from imec, which covers both the VIS and NIR spectral ranges. A third channel is equipped with a high-resolution RGB sensor. The device covers 30 bands in the range from 460 to 870 nm, complemented by a true-color five-megapixel image - all synchronized with video speed for real-time data capture, even for dynamic scenes.
