Vision, the world's leading trade fair for machine vision, will kick off with a record number of exhibitors on October 8, 2024. Around 500 exhibiting companies - more than ever before - will showcase their new developments and innovations to an international audience for three days.

"With an increase of over 26 percent compared to the previous event, we are setting another record. In addition, the proportion of international exhibitors has grown to 68 percent," says Florian Niethammer, Head of Trade Fairs and Events at Messe Stuttgart. "We were also able to increase the exhibition space, which is 17 percent more than at Vision 2022," says Niethammer. A third of the exhibiting companies are taking part for the first time - and over 30 registered start-ups and industry newcomers are also a new record.

On all three days of the trade fair, visitors can look forward to an extensive lecture program: From synthetic data to 3D, embedded vision and hyperspectral imaging to artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, all important trend topics of the machine vision industry are on the agenda of the Industrial Vision Days and the Scientific Vision Days.
Once again this year, a livestream and video-on-demand of the presentations will be offered to give all interested parties the opportunity to attend and participate in the knowledge transfer. "We are thus increasing the reach of Vision and offering potential machine vision users who cannot make it to Vision in Stuttgart in person this year the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and innovations," says Niethammer.

A special highlight of the program is the 'Vision Award'. The prize for technological excellence in the field of image processing will be awarded on October 9 from more than 60 submissions on the Forum stage.
