Real-time detection of pharmaceutical codes and color ring codes
EVT's EyeVision software enables the exact recognition of colors and color nuances in real time by assigning the recognized codes to a product. This is done without programming.
Within the pharmaceutical industry, the documentation and traceability of products is important and required by law. In addition to OCR codes, barcodes and DMC codes, pharmaceutical codes and color ring codes are also used for this purpose. The latter is a single or multi-colored, barcode-like imprint or a code consisting of several rings. EVT 's EyeVision software recognizes the colors and colour nuances in real time. The software's color commands make evaluation easy to implement. The camera with which the task is to be realized can be freely selected. Simple integration via various interfaces such as Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT enables remote monitoring, remote control and the transfer of results to higher-level systems such as a database.
