New forum for machine vision
The European Machine Vision Association EMVA is launching a new event: the 'European Machine Vision Forum' will celebrate its premiere in Heidelberg in September 2016.
The forum will take place annually on two consecutive days. The aim of the EMVA is to bring the machine vision industry and academic research together to learn from each other, especially with regard to current research results and open problems in applications. The agenda includes lectures, poster presentations and software demonstrations.
The first 'Machine Vision Forum' will take place on September 8 and 9, 2016 at Heidelberg University. The topic of the event is "Image Processing Algorithms - from low level to deep learning". Further information can be found on the forum's website.
