Management succession
Johannes Overhues took over the management of Kappa optronics, a provider of cameras and vision systems, on May 1, 2020. He succeeds Christian Stickl.
Stickl took over the management of Kappa optroncs four years ago and is now placing the management task in younger hands. He will leave the company after a transitional period.
Overhues brings with him relevant experience in the field of industrial thermal imaging cameras and measurement and control technology. Most recently, he was CEO of GHM Messtechnik. Prior to that, he was CEO and Head of Sales at various companies, including GEA Group, MKS Instruments and Lumasense Technologies (now Advanced Energy).
