MVTec at the Hannover Messe
Machine vision use in the industry
MVTec is presenting the latest versions of MVTec Halcon and MVTec Merlic at the Hannover Messe. Product demos illustrate the use of machine vision in industry.
Software provider MVTec will be showcasing its machine vision portfolio at the Hannover Messe from April 22 to 26, 2024 at stand G24 in hall 9. According to the provider, the standard software for industrial image processing called 'MVTec Halcon' is extremely powerful and suitable for all machine vision applications. 'MVTec Merlic' is a no-code software designed to help beginners in particular to create complete and high-performance machine vision applications. The software products are suitable for inspection tasks, completeness checks, reading barcodes and data codes, optimizing human-robot interaction and other fields of application in industry and automation.
Product demo shows testing of printed circuit boards for logical errors
To illustrate the possible applications of the machine vision software to visitors to the stand, MVTec will be presenting a product demo from electronics production. Printed circuit boards will be tested for defects as part of the quality inspection process. The focus is on the deep learning-based technology 'Global Context Anomaly Detection', which is part of MVTec Halcon. The feature is designed to reliably identify completely new variants of defects. Missing or incorrectly installed components on PCBs or faulty labeling are detected and completeness checks are carried out.
MVTec is part of the Guided Tour "Artificial Intelligence"
This year, MVTec is taking part in the Guided Tours organized by Hannover Messe for the first time. As part of the Guided Tour "Artificial Intelligence", MVTec experts will explain the company's own deep learning technologies, highlight the benefits for users and demonstrate them using the trade fair demo on display.
MVTec will provide interested visitors with free trade fair tickets.
