Line scan cameras with 8k and 16k resolution
Basler is expanding its range of line scan cameras with the 'racer 2 L' as a monochrome version with CXP-12 interface. Thanks to Gpixel sensors, the camera offers resolutions of 8k or 16k at line rates of up to 200 kHz.
With frame grabbers from Basler and the 'VisualApplets Software' for FPGA programming, a solution for pre-processing is available that significantly reduces the CPU load in the application. In addition, the company offers all other necessary components for a CXP-12 linescan image processing system from a single source, including lighting, lenses, cables and cooling solutions. The camera is used, for example, for battery inspection, in the electronics sector (e.g. for wafer and PCB inspection), for capturing barcodes in the logistics sector and for rail inspection.
