For Industry 4.0 and autonomous driving
Time-of-flight (ToF) cameras work with light-based radar (lidar) to capture the environment in 3D for applications in automotive, industrial, medical and building technology.
The ToF camera Argos3D-P330 from Becom has a high-resolution depth sensor in combination with a 2D CMOS sensor. The intelligent depth sensor provides depth information and gray scale image data for over 100,000 pixels simultaneously. An optional 2D camera captures scenes in color with a resolution of up to 1280 × 720 pixels and enables the analysis of 3D depth data in combination with 2D data. The actual range is more than 10 m indoors and up to 3 m outdoors with a field of view of 80°. The 2D and 3D data stream is provided by a Gigabit Ethernet interface, which also has a PoE function.
