Change in management

New management at IDS: As the commercial managing director is leaving the company at his own request, company founder and shareholder Jürgen Hartmann is taking over his responsibilities. Daniel Seiler remains Technical Managing Director.

Torsten Wiesinger, former Commercial Managing Director of IDS Imaging Development Systems, is handing back responsibility for the areas he managed to company founder Jürgen Hartmann. He will be assisted by Daniel Seiler, who has been Technical Managing Director since 2015. He will continue to be responsible for operations and product development. Wiesinger joined the company twelve years ago and moved from sales management to management in 2010.

IDS is a manufacturer of digital industrial cameras with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 or GigE interfaces and also offers individual special developments for customer-specific applications. The company reports record sales for the 2015 financial year: with an increase in sales of 17%, it far exceeded the 10% growth forecast by the VDMA for industrial image processing. Double-digit growth is also being targeted for 2016 due to the positive order situation and the positive development of international business. Last year, IDS recorded a 17% increase in sales in Asia alone compared to 2014.
