Automated error detection without programming knowledge
Cognex has launched the In-Sight 2800 vision system onto the market. The system makes it easier to apply deep learning on a production line.
The EasyBuilder user interface of the In-Sight 2800 guides users step-by-step through the application development process using point-and-click. According to Cognex, even people without vision experience can easily set up jobs. The combination of deep learning and conventional image processing tools offers the flexibility to solve a wide range of inspection applications. The corresponding tools can be used individually for simple tasks or linked together for more complex logical processes.
The toolset also includes ViDi EL Classify: this classification tool can be trained with just five images to detect and categorize defects and correctly identify parts with deviations. Classification by multiple features allows users to process different tasks in a single image processing job.
