Virtek Vision International acquires
Virtek specializes in the design and manufacture of advanced 3D laser projectors, smart cameras and quality control systems powered by AI-driven software and algorithms. The company's machine vision solutions provide users with precise, virtual, laser-guided measurement and inspection capabilities that help automate complex assembly processes and improve production efficiency in a variety of aerospace, defense and industrial applications.

"Virtek is an excellent acquisition and a great strategic fit with our Creaform business. Virtek's strong technological capabilities are highly complementary to Creaform's, enabling a broader range of automated 3D scanning and inspection capabilities supported by advanced software and algorithms."
Virtek, headquartered in Waterloo, Canada, has annual sales of approximately $40 million and will join Ametek as part of the Electronic Instruments Group (EIG) - a provider of advanced analytical, monitoring, test, calibration and display instrumentation.
Ametek is a global provider of industrial technology solutions, serving a variety of niche markets and generating annual sales of around USD 7 billion. Creaform supports users with 3D solutions for metrology requirements and is a business unit of Ametek.
