Big Data

Inka Krischke,

The VDI Forum 'Digital Transformation'

On October 13, the VDI is organizing a forum at Motek on the topic of "Digital Transformation - Big Data in Production" with presentations and the opportunity to share experiences.

The advantage of modern big data technologies compared to the classic static methods of the past is that data from production, which is often already available, can be used. However, mastering the volume of data and applying the right big data analysis confronts companies with complex technologies. Maintaining an overview and making the right decisions is a key challenge. Accordingly, the presentations at the forum will cover topics such as "Manufacturing analytics in implementation - optimization examples from production", "Big data applications in pharmaceutical production", "Data analysis - from the PLC to the dashboard", "Live hacking: attacking robots in industrial production" and, last but not least, "Predictive maintenance using big data".

Participation in the forum - located in Hall 9 at Stand 9101 - is free of charge for trade fair visitors.
