EMV 2020 canceled
Due to the increasing spread of Covid-19 in Europe and the associated uncertainty, the organizers have decided to cancel the EMV trade fair and the parallel congress in Cologne.
Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH made the decision in close consultation with various participants due to the continuing increase in the spread of Covid-19 in Europe. The aim of canceling the event is to prevent participants coming from risk areas from unintentionally attending the trade fair while ill.
"We very much regret having to cancel this year's EMV in Cologne, but the health of our exhibitors, visitors, speakers, participants, partners and employees is our top priority. The decision was not an easy one for us, nor for other trade fair organizers who are facing challenges worldwide due to the current situation," explains Petra Haarburger, Managing Director of Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
The next EMC trade fair with workshops will regularly take place in Stuttgart from March 23 - 25, 2021. Current information is available at e-emv.com.
