With output currents of 5 A or 10 A, Block 's switched-mode power supplies with integrated charging and control unit and widths of 55 mm or 62 mm ensure system availability for 24 V (DC) consumers. Available in different versions with and without a communication interface, the combination UPSs in the PCC-1024 series offer safety in the event of mains interruptions by connecting different battery modules. The devices are parameterized either via the rotary switches on the front or via a shock- and vibration-proof USB interface with the free 'UPS Control' software. In addition, up to 150 % for 5 s and a static power reserve of 110 % are available at start-up. As with the power supplies in the 'Power Compact Champ (PCC)' series, there are therefore sufficient power reserves available for the reliable tripping of circuit breakers in the event of a short circuit.
