Schneider Electric takes over climate protection consultant EcoAct
With the acquisition of EcoAct from Atos, Schneider Electric is further expanding its range of sustainability consulting services.
The acquisition of EcoAct, a provider of climate consulting and net-zero solutions, by Schneider Electric followed consultation with the relevant employee representatives and approval by the relevant regulatory authorities.
EcoAct is a specialist in climate-neutral business and has therefore developed a broad portfolio of consulting services to help companies in various industries achieve their climate protection targets. These include climate data tools and the development of climate protection projects. These services now complement Schneider Electric's portfolio. The Group already offers consulting services in the areas of energy management, energy efficiency, renewable energies, environmentally friendly raw material procurement, sustainability and net zero consulting, climate risk assessment and sustainability communication.
