User-defined power supply and application data, such as the AC and DC quality of the system, can be called up in real time via IO-Link and the display and appropriate measures can be initiated in good time. The remote function also enables the power supply unit to be switched on and off remotely. The Puls power supply is technically based on the supplier's 'Dimension CP20' series. Features such as permanent 20 % BonusPower at temperatures up to +45 °C, active power factor correction (PFC) and electronic inrush current limitation have been adopted. According to the manufacturer, the power supply is also extremely energy-efficient with a peak efficiency of 95.5% and emits only minimal power loss in the form of heat. The design with a width of just 48 mm has been retained despite the additional communication features.
