Wago at the SPS 2023

Inka Krischke,

Narrow multi-channel for more packing density

The electronic circuit breakers from Wago for 24 V(DC), with four 4 (787-3664) and eight (787-3668) channels, are used in all industries with sensors and actuators and other electrical loads in the 24 V(DC) range.

These include, for example, the process and manufacturing industry, automotive production and energy technology. With their compact width of 32 mm, the multi-channel circuit-breakers are the narrowest ECBs available on the market, according to manufacturer Wago. When using the 8-channel circuit-breaker, this results in a space saving of 50% compared to eight single-channel circuit-breaker modules. The 4-channel circuit-breaker is available in the same width of 32 mm. This means that 4-channel circuit-breakers can also be replaced by 8-channel circuit-breakers for extensions. Each ECB channel can be safely operated and the respective tripping current set via an LED-illuminated on, off and reset button as well as a potential-free signaling contact. Pre-wiring is possible thanks to plug connectors with mismating protection.
